Cool torques journal, nothing new - last post with pic for Topher03

this journal starts with post #20!

what the heck, no ...but I realize there are a few differences, and for your information, I will post a photo or two, EDM = european domestic market (information for the "new guys")

here you can see on the left the EDM fog light, itīs a "must have" in germany, and most of the other european countries

the button on the left is for the EDM rear foglight

our EDM mesh grille (no, I donīt want to trade with an USDM grille)

Did you notice the little "bump" in front of the headlights on the front bumper? Itīs because all hawkeye STIīs uses Xenon lights, no halogen headlights. Again a "must have" for cars in germany: if you are using Xenon, you must have an automatic headlight washing system and an automatic light-heigth-correction that the upcoming other car drivers donīt get dazzled /glared ($hit, donīt know the correct description for this, sorry).

If you are using the windshield washer longer than four seconds, the little bumps are coming up, and the integrated nozzles are spraying water on the headlights.

ah, the hole on the left side is my EDM ghetto intake mod

what else...I dunno, only this
itīs all metric
speedometer kilometer per hour, not miles per hour
temperature in Celsius, not Fahrenheit
pressure in bar, not psi

oh yes, the forester DIN-pocket is different (and the crappy radio unit, and the aftermarket head units)

Now Iīm tired, itīs 1.35 AM, and the other goodies will be posted....I dunno

sweeeet...car looks great. More interior shots?! Maybe in the light?

Wonder if there's any way for us to hook up a fog light deal like yours...
MORE PICTURES!!!

The deal?
German government says: if it´s foggy and the sight is only 50 m or less (50 m is around 164 feet), the speed limit on highway or autobahn has to be 50 kilometer per hour (around 31 mph) and the rear fog light has to be switched on, to avoid car crashes.

Those damn fog lights are brighter than the stop/brake lights, if a stupid driver forgot to turn them off, it will burn your retina in the dark

Nice fog light! I rigged one up on my car by wiring an unused filament in one of the bulbs to my fog light switch. Works fine, not as bright as that puppy though.

My USDM boost gauge is in BAR, OEM....and i have both miles per hour and km/h.

+ EDM gets enkei but USDM gets BBS, wich are alot nicer imo.

hmmm, maybe a journal needs more "journalism"...

first mod, the replica lip

followed by the first defis

time for moī powa

full 3" with hi-flow cat, only available in germany, only 60 were made, all sold

mine is number 26

and I believe this little cuty would match perfectly GT-specII unequal length

first time it hurts ...have to cut a little

and yes, we have to cut a little more (my car may feel like an emo )

because I feel sorry for this harsh treatment, a little gift, the spt heat shield

thatīs enough for today
