IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 | I just got some Cobb floor mats for my '07 (awsome quality) and noticed that the top of the mat under the gas pedal covers the round rubber pad that the gas pedal rests on when it is at WOT(wide open throttle). Does anyone know if the pedal is at WOT before it makes contact with the pad and if so by how much before it? The mat is about a half an inch thick, that is roughly the distance the padel is being held above the floored position (rubber pad) by the mat. I have not driven with the mats yet so I can't say if the car feels different power wise. I am thinking of possibly cutting the mat if need be? thanks |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2005 | your floor mats should NOT interfere with the pedals no matter what. its way too dangerous, especially if the mat gets stuck on TOP of a pedal and you cant stop or it pushes down on the gas |
