Default Cobb mats possibly effecting WOT!!!

I just got some Cobb floor mats for my '07 (awsome quality) and noticed that the top of the mat under the gas pedal covers the round rubber pad that the gas pedal rests on when it is at WOT(wide open throttle). Does anyone know if the pedal is at WOT before it makes contact with the pad and if so by how much before it? The mat is about a half an inch thick, that is roughly the distance the padel is being held above the floored position (rubber pad) by the mat. I have not driven with the mats yet so I can't say if the car feels different power wise. I am thinking of possibly cutting the mat if need be? thanks

test drive with mats in and mats out. check your boost guage for reference if it's hitting full boost. .1 bar(14.5 psi)

an easy way to tell if you're hitting WOT, is to do a run with your AC ON. it will turn off when you go WOT and back on when you let off, it should be pretty noticeable if you pay attention.

i believe the ecu reads WOT before it gets to 100% throttle, so you're probably still ok.

^^^I was thinking the same thing...so I checked this thread out to see if he meant "maps" instead of "mats."

your floor mats should NOT interfere with the pedals no matter what. its way too dangerous, especially if the mat gets stuck on TOP of a pedal and you cant stop or it pushes down on the gas

this has actually been a problem on some lexuses (lexi? how do you pluralize lexus?) and several people have been injured because their car started accelerating when the pedal stuck in the mat.
