I could be wrong, but I don't think Perrin sells the kit in the first link. If you could take the idea from the second link adjustable and make a really simple display for it - I think that would be awesome.

and

here: Automatic Intercooler Sprayer (boost referenced)

Good idea though...I like how you are thinking.

My newest idea is a simple stopwatch...mount a switch on the wheel or whatever and use it to stop/start things.

Just read this - maybe a temp activated IC sprayer?

i like the established boost referenced sprayer mod, though temp could be cool, too.

maybe both.

How much does the sprayer affect the temp on a highly modded car? On my car it doesn't do much. I use it before autox runs in the summer but I doubt it does much but get rid of a little heat soak.

my guess it is does *some*. not much.

i spray mine before, throughout most of my run and after the run. would i add a sprayer if it weren't there? probably not.

i think the temp display would be much more useful. wish it could display wheel temp somehow. and if i had my way, it would show inside, middle and outside of each wheel.

What about a boost/underhood temp triggered ic spray?

two knobs to adjust temp and boost triggers...it has to reach both to spray.

Using discrete potentiometers will allow them to "save the settings."

Push button to switch between the accelerometer and ic spray.

Needed:
-two potentiometers that I like
-one push button
-one temp sensor
-one pressure sensor

What do you think about this idea?

Also, I'm working on getting the back lighting to flip on off with the headlight switch.

i'd rather they be independent, but wired in parallel (or whatever the term is). that way it can spray for boost, or temp, or both (or at will). It'd make sense to use the stock switch blanks since the manual i/c spray control is there.

I've been looking at this thread every now and then and I like were it's going someone said my thoughts exactly about a system like in the GTR skylines I thing that would be great you can sign me up for one now. I don't know how far you want to take it but I think you would get alot of intrested people and maybe a business ventuer out of it. Oh and a clock option would be nice for those that don't want to lose the clock. Good Luck.
