The only thing that stinks about the DRL disable is that if you use your city lights or headlights during the day/ at dusk, you can't see the clock, rear defroster/AC/fan light. That drove me crazy enough that I reactivated the DRL's. To all the ladies; please do not disable your DSL's.

If you have the headlights on,and you hold down on the radio volume button for a few seconds, it brings the interior lights back up to bright (its either that or the channel selector, I forget which, but there is a "sun" icon near the switch.

I tried this, and it only brightened the LCD display on the radio. It did not affect the clock or the HVAC control lights. The dimmer switch on the turn signal wand doesn't affect these lights either.

My bad, yes it just works on the radio, but I don't understand why your dimmers on the stalk don't do anything.

The dimmer on the blinker stalk only dims/ brightens the gauges in the gauge pod; it does not affect the clock on top of the dash, nor the HVAC control lights. I believe that driving with lights on during the day is imperative, whether it be city lights in the city or normal lights everywhere else. The number of people that pull out in front of me has pretty much been zero since I started driving with my lights on in my old '93 impreza hatch back. The dimming problem only affects people like me who turn their lights on during the day. If you are like my brother who hates DRL's for no apparent reason, then you will not have a problem with the DRL delete and the interior lights.
