Yes they are a good company. We can offer you what advice we have just by what you type and the pictures we see. Unfortunately, we can't really get in to it being we aren't there. The best we can do is to have you get the compression/leakdown testing done (just like the others said) and let you know that the previous owner did indeed purchase quality products and everything looks to have been done well. It is always a risk getting a modified turbo car. Sometimes the previous owner beat the hell out of it and sometimes you are getting a well taken care of beast.

Just make sure it checks out fine by someone other than the dealer. Good luck and let us know.

Get that engine checked out because its hard to think that someone traded in a car like that with those mods without there being any problems but thats just my thinking, haha I know I wouldnt.

Ok im taking all of your advice. Theres one other problem i forgot to mention. This car is located nearly 300 miles away from me! haha so i really dont know whats going on with the car but like i said the carfax report is good. But right now everything is looking good with the bank all were waiting for is approval for the loan. After that my dad is gonna call the dealer and have him take the car to a shop and run the tests on it. If he really wants to sell the car he'll do all of this right?!? haha ill let you guys know as soon as i find out!

Yeah if they want to sell the car they should do the compression and leakdown. Make sure you make it clear to them, if you decide to buy the car after they call you with the test results and they're good, to make sure they have the test results from the shop in a hard copy printout or something. I can see the dealer saying if fine and not even doing the test...

I talked to the dealer and he gave me more specifics on what was on/in the car. He told me it had a different turbo.. Not really sure what it was i think he said something like j35 or g35 im not too sure. He also said he had no problem running a leakdown and compression test. He said he would only trust the subaru dealer in el paso to perform the tests though. We still havent heard anything from the bank yet so we're still waiting on that. Hopefully everything is good! Ill still keep yall up to date on this!

Honestly by the sound of your posts/questions this is NOT the car for you. Not trying to burst your bubble or be a d**k, but a stock STI would suit your needs better and last longer. Half the fun is picking and doing the mods.

Car looks like it has LOTS of mods. Mostly of quality, but you have some serious questions to ask yourself...Will you be using this car as a DD (that would be very expensive)? Do you want to care for and maintain a highly moded car (it's a ***** and it doesn't sound like you have any idea)? Are you ready to deal with cops? Can you handle a vehicle like this? Insurance? Do you have mechanical skills or know a good tuner shop to work on the car?

If it is a 35R turbo you better hope it has a good tune and upgraded pistons a the least. Do you know why? Of course you don't and thats the problem with you wasting your money on a car like this. Not saying the car is bad, just saying it's bad for you.
