Default STi's being sold?

Sometimes ebay is pretty cool...8)
Purchased some 17x8.5 wheels SSR Competion wheels with low milage KDW's for $1200 shipped.

I should be able to sell my stock BBS wheels and tires for $1000 so it only cost me $200 to upgrade my wheels/tires.

Also purchased a CF trunk for $56

The trunk has some blemishes in it but I can care less since it will be painted. I'm hoping this will help save some weight from the stock trunk and wing. Shipping sucks at $150 though but I was looking at least $100 to ship a RS trunk I found on car-parts.com (plus $150 for the RS trunk).

Well its suppose to have blemishes such as Air Bubbles, Impurities or CF Skew so its not a perfect CF trunk. I really don't care about the blemishes since the paint should hide the flaws. I just pray the fitment is okay.

Besides, I think the CF look with blue just looks too unfinished and a little ricey to me. If I had a black car and the trunk looked okay, I might leave it.

I was thinking of a creative way to paint it such as having the STI logo on the back of the trunk but instead of the chrome/pink emblem you would see the STI letters in CF outlined with pink. That way people would KNOW I shelled out some serious $$$ for a CF trunk...

I had a tree fall on my hood and hav had the insurance buy me a new CF hood. I planed on repairing the old hood myself and lelling on the CF hood to recoup some cost. I do like the way they look on the wrb, but it is a little too ricy. Now if you did a hood, trunk, wing and the roof hand laid in CF would that be far too ricy or just plain nutts?

How much lighter is the CD hood than the OEM?

Not sure if they make a CF roof but that would be be nuts not to mention the cost. I think some CF stripes would be tasteful though. Sort of like the red/white ESX Sti but the stripes would be CF.
