Default Brake light coming on and off

I just came back from the supermarket and noticed the Parking brake light come on. After a few seconds, it went off. This happened a few times. When I moved the car, depending on its motion, it would flicker on/off. I checked the fluids and they are on max. I checked for leaks and couldn't find one. I do have an aftermarket radiator overflow tank that did spill out some fluid, But I don't know what that has to do with the brake issue other than it being close to the metal brake line.

Any thoughts?

Are you referring to the parking brake light?

Yes. All the way down, Fluids are on the Max line. No leaks.

The parking brake does not use any fluids. It is a cable based brake.

If the handle is all the way down and there is nothing bent that would cause the hand lever switch to not contact correctly, you probably have a shirt somewhere. Possibly a bad switch.

Pull the center consol apart and see if the pin (located at the base of the parking brake assembly) that activates the light is not damaged, also make sure the wire to that pin is connected properly. That switch or the wire to it is where the fault will be
