Metal Gear 4!!

Anyone else get it? I bought the MGS bundle ps3. Now i have both 360 and ps3. I only played MGS4 for about an hour last night, but its really something else so far. Cant wait to get on it today.

Wish they had this for the 360. Ive always loved playing Metal Gear. I might have to make my roommate buy it for his PS3

Bought the PS3/MSG4 bundle on my lunch break... have to wait till tonight to play.. its killing me!! I love the whole series so this one, on PS3 with blueray and 1080p and all that it should be phenominal......... It'll take me a while to get online(need a wireless router), but we should start a clan or group or whatever you call it for this game... not sure how multiplayer will even work...hmmm....

? for the ppl who played it already... whats up with those commercials or what ever they are when the game load in the beginning???? so far i saw the billyblank wanna be dude and then i saw the bomb shelter buffet

I will probably pick MGS4 up this weekend...I head the load times were disgusting but everything else was "above the pack" so to say.

So now the ever important question... which is best GTA4 or MGS4?

Personally, I'm still gonna buy it but wanna wait till I'm closer to finishing gta.

GTA4 is "OK"...I have no idea why it got such great reviews. I would give it a 6/10 for being pretty much the same as all the other GTAs...I am still playing however.

i stopped playing GTA got to boring. MGS4 is way better. I just beat the first boss. Musy say i was a little spooked LoL... Graphics are amazing. Theres been a few scenes were i honestly couldnt tell if it was real or game. And im not talking about the obvious ones.

I also found out that the ps3 can be used as an acces point. One of the guys told me when i bought the bundle last night. He said you plug your modem into it and it sends out wifi. Im not 100% sure how to do.

Load times are fast. What happens is the ps3 installs the game first. Everytime you beat a chapter it installs the next one. Only takes a few mins to install. Then you play it through. Runs real smooth and loads quick. The onlines not to bad either...

Gotta do the whole port forwarding business and get the router to give good bt download speeds, then my friend its on.

I bought it last night at Midnight. I think it blows GTA out of the water, sure it's good in some aspects and looks good, but MGS4 looks even better. Auto camo suit rocks, customizable guns, and an awsome story. You almost have to have played all the previous games to follow the story completely, but if you haven't it's still good, very thought out, and I love the flash backs. Anyway I'm through the first boss and when you beat her it's very interesting. Anyway I would be playing it now if I wasn't at work. I'm a fan of the series and can't wait to see how it ends.

Put it in briefly last night, I was also confused by the info-mercials at the beginning... but graphics look great, and load times are too bad(so far). I don't like using both analogs for movement/looking around.. I'm an old school d-pad type a guy.. gonna take some getting used to....

During those commercials you can use the D pad to change channels. There are a few different commercials. And yes, they are all weird. I think they mostly have to do with PMCs and the military. But you HAVE to check out the commercial with the 2 "floating" chicks in the air, kind of a grayish scene. Graphics are amazing!
