Just played Halo 2/3 for first time....

Since getting COD4 which was Christmas time. I must say, after playing Halo, I'll probably never play it again.

I even did the stupid thing of buying a 1,000 points, and downloaded the latest maps for Halo 3. Waste of $15.

I played 3 games of Halo2 but after listening to a bunch of wanabee "boys" talking like they are from the "hood" and dropping f-bombs every second word... I just had to leave.

Then wet to Halo 3 to check out the new downloaded maps. I didn't even play 2 games before I said f-it and went back to playing COD4.

I never really like Halo3 and still think Halo2 is better.... But COD4 is just hands down so much more fun to play....

Just wanted to share my last couple nights with you guys!

You really have to be in the right mindset to enjoy Halo multiplayer. I'm good at it and I own all three games, but I only go on a playing spree one weekend a month when I'm really feeling competitive. It helps to play with a bunch of buddies too enabling you to go from game to game shredding through your opponents. By the way the content/$ ratio of the new multiplayer maps is pathetic. I'm waiting for them to be free

you have to be a halo fan from the beginning aka halo one....dropping into the games now won't help.
there are a bunch of retards on it.

Don't play halo multiplayer online. Hell don't play anything online. The world is full of idiots and an inordinate amount of them are on Xbox live. I only play missions in Halo 1-3 and usually co-op with friends or family. Thats a lot of fun.

My roomate has both Halo 3 and COD4, and I definitely share the same sentiments as you. The Halo 3 online community is absolutely ridiculous. I had Halo 1, enjoyed it, but feel that it not a single game in the trilogy can compare to COD. I love COD4 and GTA IV so much I'm actually considering buying my first video game system since 8th grade.

I agree with you on the COD games. I have a lot more fun shooting aliens and weird creatures then more realistic games.

lets do it i love halo3 way more than cod4, i feel like cod4 is to much first shooter and no skill is needed like in halo there alwasy a way to get way or kill. about the kids i just mute every one buy my friends...

I liked halo 3 for a little bit, then started playing COD4 and realized how garbage Halo was.

No after playing the demo for battlefield bad company I think I am going to have to pick that up and start playing that along with COD. It's badass.

Halo 1, by far the best, but Halo 3 is second in my book. You do have to be with it since the beginning to be a fan I think, but COD4 is the best game I have ever played.

For that same reason I recently sold my 360 and bought a PS3. The 360 was supposed to be this great online experience, and instead I witnessed what you did with Halo 3, etc.

Now I'm back to the playstation universe, playing through the Metal Gear Solid series (all playstation titles) and loving every minute of it. I never played Final Fantasy X so I picked up a used copy of it and will get to it after I'm done with MGS4.

thats a pretty normal response it seem from first time halo player. ive played since the orginal came out, ended playin pro for h2, and h3 i feel like its a bit dulled down than halo2.

ether way when ever a new FPS comes out ill buy it play it for a while and always end up back at halo.
