Default First Time at the Track

Ok, so last night a bunch of guys from work call me and ask if I want to hit the track with them. 1 sti 1 wrx and 1 vette +plus me.

I've done the 1/4mile before on the bike, and done the whole track day on the bike, but not yet with the car. I've got the element tuning gt52 turbo, with aps cai and aps FMIC. Walbro FP and 816cc injectors, HKS SSQV, Tumbler deletes, perrin EL headers and catless perrin DP with catless HKS HiPower. All managed with Hydra EMS, however its a standard load map, not on a custom tune. Using 92oct pump gas.

Here are my numbers, tell me what you think. Should I be happy with them? This is my first time on a tree, and first time on the 1/4mile with the car.

Reaction: .2481
60ft: 1.9483
1/8mi ET: 7.7059
1/4mi ET: 12.5778
1/4mi MPH: 113.09

Based on my mods and first time out, should I be happy with these numbers?

Those are decent numbers for the first time. That 60 foot can be brought down to 1.7, or even high 1.6's and that would yield some good improvement. It just will take practice and experience, like anything else.

Nice numbers for ur first time but ur car has more potential.
I think with good launch your car can knock down high 11's

Thats perfectly respectable. Nothing to worry about there. I can see you getting a 12.0 with a little practice, your 113 mph trap speed hints at better times in the wings.

Thanks guys, I really had no idea where I stood, especially with the mods. There were two evo8's battling at 11.4's . The best time between the two of them was 11.3. It would be a lot of fun to get to the point where I could compete with the two of them, especially since one of them was talking so much $hit about the sti/evo rivalry. I just held my tongue.
