Default Ran at drag strip last night (LACR)...

Last night I had a chance to take my car to strip for the first time. As many of you know, Palmdale LA County Raceway (LACR) is one of the most difficult tracks to run at due to its high elevation (almost 3000ft), horrible prep, and harsh weather conditions (usually a headwind). Despite all that, I was very pleased my only pass of the night:

60ft: 1.842
1/8 mile: 8.348 @ 83.301
1/4 mile: 13.052 @ 104.257

My mods are listed in my signature and the weather was about 70F temp and 30% humidity.

What do you guys think, especially those who have run at this track before?

with 307 awhp, did you only hit 13.0 because of the elevation, or is that just what you get with that much power with theese cars? sorry for the newb question, only had my sti for about a month now, im still learning. ask me anything about a honda though and ill tell ya. lol. just a question

The "seemingly" slow time for my setup is mostly due to the high elevation and the track conditions. Had this run been at an ideal location, it would have likely been a few tenths and mphs faster.

Yeah, judging by your LACR time and going by what others have done near sea level with 300whp, I'd say you'd be in the mid-12s at 106-109, which is very respectable for a stock turboed STi.

When I was on the stock turbo with the stage 2 map at LACR I put down a 13.343. The track sucks it is really rough coming out of the hole. How could you have ran at LACR its been closed for months?

On their website there is a conversion to calculate your time as if you were at sea level. You multiply your time by .97 and that is your true time.
