I actually raced a WRX with a 18g turbo and Perrin TMIC and meth injection. He ran a 12.64 which i thought was pretty impressive. It was an automatic too! He said he could build 10lbs of boost at the line to launch! He said it was his girlfriends car, and that he had an EVO IX at home . He said he used to have an 04 STi, and that he wanted another one after he saw my car . Nice guy though.

Thumbs up

Wow! That's a great time. And you HAVEN'T been protuned yet?

I dunno, if you get protuned, run 93 octane, and get your 60' times down like you said you wanted. M-A-Y-B-E you'd be knocking on the 11 second door??

Maybe?

(Oh, and be sure to take out the spare, the jack, the spare cover, empty EVERYTHING out of the cabin, go to the track with a 1/4 tank of gas (have a friend drive their car as a support vehicle with a can of gas, and your spare, and your jack)).

Not to burst a bubble but not likely. Unless you know of someone who has done this but I don't believe anyone has hit 11s on stock turbo 93 oct. I know someone who ran 12.3 100 oct protuned stage 2.

Yeah, I didn't really think so either. Shaving a half-second off is asking alot of any car. But stranger things have happened and it was fun to contemplate anyway.

BUT, you don't improve unless you have a challenge.

I dont think im going to come close to that 11 sec mark, but that would be great! . I am going to head back to the track when it cools down even more. I think with a protune on 100 octane in very cool weather i would maybe hit 12.2. Hopefully by next summer i will running a gt30r and wont have to worry about hitting 11s . I will post up the time slip later. I am at work and the DSL at home is not working. I had the slip with me yesterday becuase all the people at work told me i was full of sh*t...

Shift points were:
1-2....7000
2-3....6500
3-4....6000
4-5(which sucks) ....6000

I flat shifted every gear with the DCCD set at one up from all the way down. It didnt spin AT ALL and no wheel hop. Just took off. If anyone is in MD you guys should come up to Cecil County Dragstrip. Its a lot of fun on Friday nights and only $12 to race. There are usually a few STi's there and a lot of Evos.

Excellent times for an OTS Cobb Stage 2 STI.
What octane fuel were you using?
