do you have the stock plastic motor mounts and also do you dump the clutch or slip it?

Let off of it really fast while applying WOT, no clutch slip. One of the other reasons I like the DCCD in full rear but that's just me- others like Auto.

Why do the Evos do so much better? I know some of it is gearing, but do they really make that much more power? I know a stage 2 in that car turns it into something evil, the IX certainly is improved over the VIII.

^^ Bigger turbo??

Very nice run, you have inspired me to get into the 12's. I only ran once and got a 13.3 but my 60' sucked because I launched at 5k and did have some slippage. I'll try your way of launching next time and see what I get.

Default DCCD on full rear

Your suggestion for DCCD on manual and all the way to the rear is definately the way to go. Tried it tonight and the car felt a stronger at the track. For the sake of times to back up the findings i will post [I am still having problems launching this thing].

60' 2.360
1/4 14.3
trap 97.8

with DCCD manual full rear

60' 2.000
1/4 14.0
trap 98.3

with DCCD on auto

Note: saving a tenth on the 60' will equate to 2 tenths on the quarter time.

good luck

Those are both bad sixty foots

I say try the auto again revving up to 5k and a very fast slip of the clutch.

Trouble as in not running correctly?
Ran fine, rich but fine, on a stock ECU for 4000 miles, and now running as well or better with the Cobb AP. All of this pales in comparison as to what a Protune will unleash with a few supporting 'items'- no methanol, FMIC, or anything like that though. My mod paths differ from the norm.

I will keep this thread updated with my progress.
