Default First Time with the 35r at the Drag Strip

Sunday was a fun day at the drag strip, the car was running pretty good. I still don't have a window switch on the Nitrous, and I use launch control and flat foot shifting, so being on the bottle without an RPM switch is a no no!

The track temp was 131 degrees! YUCK!

I did 2 or 3 runs to get the launching down on the strip, and figure out how to get in 5th gear the best (sycro is going so its a grinding biznatch)

Then on my fourth run I was finally getting things where I wanted them, and times were drastically reducing, I nailed 5th gear and all I heard was rev-limiter

Yep...you guessed it! Smoked the clutch out of it!

So here is my slip from the 5th and fastest run of the day, 131 degree track temp, NO Nitrous 5th gear slipping (I let off the throttle a little, but just kept in it and let it slip)

11.3@126

I am not totally happy, but given the circumstances, I think its a pretty good pass. If it was a little cooler out without the clutch slipping I really think there is a 10.9 in the car with no nitrous. But thats all speculation, so whatever.

Here is the VIDEO!
