I was just curious. What did you do different between this trip to the track and the trip you posted in the other thread where you ran the 11.6xx? Did you add N2O, or adjust tire pressures? I'm getting ready to take mine to the strip for the first time and I know it wont be like my fwd car so I'm just looking around to see what works for other people. Thanks.

I would just leave the tire preasure as is. Also when you launch the car I would hold the throttle at like 5,500 rpms. Slip the clutch a little bit then dump it. The launch is the key to any good pass, that and not breaking and missing gears lol.

Very nice run with a VF34!! The PPG gears are stock 5MT ratios right?

Thanks for the instruction. I have been practicing my launch but I slip the clutch most of the way through first gear. I guess the trick is to get the slack out of the drive-train with the slip and then dump it huh? This practice is taking place on roads too, so it will probably all change at the track.
