Talking Help me figure my 1/4 mile time

I have an 07' sti that made 440whp/410tq and I was told from Dan Harman that is 570hp at the crank. I am wondering what it might be possible to do in the 1/4 mile as long as the car hooks up and every shift is good. That being said I am wondering what it might be able to do? I was thinking low 11's as long as nothing breaks, and I get traction. I know their are guys with 540whp that run mid 10's. So I was curious to see if someone might be able to give me a guess at what it should run. I dont want to race it yet until I get the drivetrain built.

Those guys with 540 running mid 10's are not talking about power at the crank. They are talking about at the wheels. You should be good for high 11's. But ultimately, until you run it, it doesn't have a "time"

Virtual/bench seat racing means nothing. You could have an insane amount of power on the dyno but doesn't mean crap until you run it. No fun in being a dyno queen.....

Yeah, gotta run it to find out. For what its worth, I have 430whp/453wtq and I'm having a hard time getting any better than 12.0 @ 119. If I was a better driver I think high 11's would be possible, but every dyno reads diffrent, peak power is nothing without an nice curve, and track conditions, driver, weight, etc. all play a big part. Head to your local track and let us know how ya do!

be like NIKE, and JUST DO IT. hit up the drag strip, there's alot of variables as how good the track is preped, how well you shift, temps, etc.etc. best way is just to go out there and do it. what ever you run take it what's it's worth and just get better, changing your shift points, what rpm your launching at, etc. but with that much power under your foot it'll be fun.

MY buddy put down 480WHP on that dyno and does 10's all day long. You should deffinately be in thelow 11's.

Sounds likes you have a 35R and some meth

Low 11's if you can drive somewhat well.

seeing as how you are asking what you would run, I'm going to assume you have never drag raced before.

1st pass, 14.0 @ 110
2nd pass, 13.2 @ 114
8th pass, 12.5 @ 118
