Default A Drag run from Buschurs import race

Here's a run of mine from this past weekends Buschurs import shootout at Norwalk OH.

Car is puling timing due to false knock but the standalone ECU is coming soon and will take care of that issue.

The noise from the motor amoung other things (Valve train noise ,9.2 to 1 compression ,solid mounts) is not allowing us to run more than 13 degrees of timing

Built block with FPgreen, APS front mount, 44mm EWG

Nice run! I was going to this event until the transmission let go. How was the turnout?

The turn out was decent, maybe 40 to 50 cars competing altogether. Lots of track time if you wanted. best part was if you went faster than 11.5 without a cage you still got to compete. There was 9.6 second cars with no cages. Can't beat that deal.

Summit raceway is an awesome track and the 1 pound of icecream for a buck made the day that much better.

I'll be back next year for sure

sure thing

12.03 @ 115.5

not record breaking by any means but I did a 339 whp 327 wtq pull on Buschurs mustang dyno the day before the event.

So I think the time is inline with the HP, dispite it pulling timing on every shift

No vf39 its a fpgreen now.

I should have most of my ecu knocking issues cleared up this weekend on the dyno.

Oh I must have missed a new set up post, that trap speed is still freaking moving especially on 13 degrees timing.

So is it mostly being blamed on false knock causing the ECU to retarded timing? If so I know how you feel...

What kind of trap speeds are you hoping for on full timing? How are you goign to fix the false knock issue if that is what it really is?

120mph would be nice.

Once we shut the knock sensor off then we'll know for sure.

scary stuff ;-) lol

Yep, I went 12.91 @ 105. Mine was parked down by the time board most of the time, and I parked by the Pure trailer after my last run.
