Default Orlando Speedworld - 5/07/08 - XPT Stage 2

Conditions: Temp. 88F, RH 60% and a really slick track. Best 12.8 @ 106 (personal best).

1st pass, I got really bad wheel hop (1st time happening) and I had to let off a little. this was using dccd in "auto'. 12.91 pass

2nd pass, set the dccd to manual 2nd arrow before fully open and launched @ 6000rpm. Smoked the tires and went a little sideways but kept going for my 1st 12.86 pass.

3rd pass, same settings as the second pass, but launched at 5500 rpm, still smoke the tires but not as bad as the 2nd pass and got a lower e.t. 12.81.

I know the car has some more, but given those weather conditions and slick track I think I did pretty good. BTW I saw a WRX (built) run a 11.7 @ 119 and that was smoking the tires pretty bad.

Here are the time slips:

It happens all the time. But send them this link, they might be a little surprised. 2008 AMR STi: STAGE 2 - 12.48 @ 112mph

5.26 330' with a 8.17 1/8 is moving.

my 5.2 330's are normally 8.25+ 1/8's. so you're about a tenth slower 60' and tenth quicker 1/8(than me respectively). if you can get some 8.0 1/8's and a better 60' you can do 12.6.

some cooler temps could get you there as well. almost 90 definately kills mph.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, even my friends can't believe the numbers, but they witnessed all those passes. One thing though, my car is not protuned (using XPT OTS map). I'm pretty sure this car has a 12.6 in cooler weather and no slick track.

I will try again this Wednesday, but this time I will drop the tire pressure 2 psi, change the dccd to the first arrow after full lock and use ice bags on the intercooler.

Will keep u guys posted.
