Default first time at the track

sup yall, i took my car to the track for the first time, after reading this fourm it looks like im doing a lot of stuff wrong with my times lol.. here are 2 of my slips.

im in the right lane car #160

any advice will help, i tried launching at 5.5 an that gave me too much tire spin and my reaction time was higher, so i feathered it at 4.5 and had better reaction times.. my mods are a fujita cold air, and cat back exhaust, hks bov. ive only had the car for a month. although i won both of my bracket races, after reading some threads it seems like my times should be lower, please let me know if you see somthing wrong sorry for the quality(no scanner). thanks

Get rid of the BOV and you'll shave a 10th off you're time. Our cars hate blow off valve's unless you're running a big turbo. The intake isnt helping you either. Id get a tune with a downpipe and go back. Garuntee you'll be much more satisfied!

i had a feeling it was that, because my car has been dying somtimes from the bov, i plan to recircluate it first to see if that helps, but i think it might be the bov. why the cold air?

If you car isnt tunned for either it hurts the performance. Look in the newbie threads and you'll find out why. There have been tons of topics on this already. Go back to stock bpv and stock air box untill you're tunned, you're car will run much better! Recirculating the bov wont help that much, trust me go back to stock. Good luck!
