2008 AMR STi: STAGE 2 - 12.48 @ 112mph

So we decided to tune the car on 100octane mix with 93 and see what she would do. We were very satisfied with the turn out. Over our last tune, we picked up +60wtq!!!! Boost was brought up to 24psi. Track times also posted!!!!

Mods:
AMR BMI Cold Air System
AMR Downpipe w/ E-CUT

Engine Management:
COBB AP v2.0 PROTuned by AMR

We also went to the track yesterday!!!

No, unfortunately COBB has not released it for the 2008 models yet. That is all driver right there.

Congrats guys, that is an awesome achievement. A 112mph trap is nothing to sneeze at and I'm sure the 40mph headwind didn't help things.

I think the computer at the track might have gliche. Check out the 1/8th mile speed.

The head winds definitely did not help things at all. On top of that the clutch did not seem to hold up to the abuse, I had a hard time getting it into 3rd and 4th on the return road.

The vehicle weighs 3548 with driver and puts down 300whp on our dyno. So the 112mph is dead on with the 300whp.

well done guys. Looks like the 08 sti's do have some potential. Would love to see those numbers with a quicker 60', no headwind, and ffs/lc. But you got some seriously great numbers for the conditions.

Clutch upgrade time too?

That is the plan. We are waiting for COBB to release the FFS and LC for the MY08 v2.0 AP's. The clutch is definitely something that needs to get done. I have a couple little mods to fabricate on the vehicle.

Yeah, I was there at the track that day, the winds were crazy, definitely not helping, but as for the mph, there were some people i had talked to that had some crazy 1/8 mile mph. I know some guy had an RSX and went in the 13's but his 1/8th mile mph was like 152 mph, it seemed to be messed up in only the 1/8's mile mph though, but who knows, all my time slips were fine and i only knew of a couple cases. Just my $.02

Nice job automaster, I saw you guys there, the only 08 that day, there was an evo X there too, any idea on what he ran, the fastest time during street wars when i was there was like 14's...

Whatever it is, very impresive Rob, GL.
