Default qualcomm 1/8 mi 3/7/08

This was my first time ever running my car. Its a stage 2 protuned at harmann. I only got 4 passes in and two of them the printer broke so I don't know the last two times. The first pass was a 8.55@83.18 mph with a 1.98 60'

The second pass that was recorded I missed the 1-2 shift and coasted through at a whopping 40 mph lol.

The other two were better runs IMO as I beat a stg 2 06 sti that claimed to have 25 whp more than me and says he runs a 8.0, I would guess that with some practice I could hit 8.0 or 8.1

Don't believe anything anyone claims down there. Most STI's run around mid 8s. There are definitely some that run faster though. I don't know how many times I heard someone in a Subaru or Evo down there tell me they cut 1.6 60' times, then race them and they ran 9+ with 2.x times in the 60'. Low 8s are definitely possible there, but you've got to hit everything right to get.

Conditions do vary though. Some nights the track is dry and sticky, and the air is cold. Those are the nights people are gonna run the good times. Last time I went (1/11/08), the track was slick as hell, but it was fairly cold out. I ended up running an 8.2 that night with a 1.7 60'. That was my best time to date, but I couldn't help but wonder if there could have been a little more if traction were better. I ran an 8.6 stock, and I think the conditions must have been perfect that night. I could never duplicate that time again, even after I went stage 1.

i am stage 2 with an ots map. i managed to get an 8.1 with a 1.7 60. i run around a 8.3 constistantly though. i didnt think i would have hit that because when i ran it stock my best time was a 8.7 with a 1.8 60

Temperature and elevation have a lot to do with the time, as well as lightweight modifications that people hide a lot. I used to run a consistent 8.2 at a basic stage 2, then I dropped 175 lbs and now run 7.9/8.0 (at sea level).

^In the case of Qualcomm its the track that is the problem. For those who are not familiar it, it is the parking lot of the Charger's stadium which is not only terribly slippery but up-hill.

When I ran 12.8 without launching I managed an 8.3 @ 85mph in the 1/8 mile finishing up with a 12.8 @ 110. 60ft time was like 2.06 haha
