Not really sleeping, I just knew I'd murder the car in the other lane, so I took my time in getting the launch right.

It does kinda' suck not having a local ¼ (nearest one is 135 miles away), but then again it's pretty cool, I constantly kill cars that would catch me in the 1320, and it's uber cool to see the frustration on their faces...haha.

Ok, I have a question for you. I am making some pretty good power with my car, 370/404 on pump. It is full weight and the first time to the track last week it was nasty. 38 degrees and slick so the 60's were awful. A 1.85 was the best. Anyway, my question is about shifting the car. We are powershifting the car, but when we do it pulls timing out all the way down the track. I am talking like 14 degrees of timing! The best we ran was an 8.10 in the 1/8 and 12.6 in the 1/4. It only trapped 113mph too.

Someone told me not to FFS the car. They said to shift 2-4th early (5,500) and 5th at 6,500 and it would make a world of difference. How are you shifting the car?

There's no need to short shift a 20g because it makes power all the way to the redline. You'll get better times if you don't FFS and go on a day when you can hook up. You should get 11's if you nail a 1.6 60' and don't FFS
