I have an 07 and IMO i set DCCD on AUTO, rev to almost 6000rpm spray intercooler, and dump the $hit out of it. I get one little chirp, no bog at all, and the sexy beast takes off. Flawless really. That's a completely stock STI on pump octane. My friend is an advocate of the feathered release, but he's also rolling at much higher hp.
