Fastest STOCK sti?

what is the fastest STOCK sti. We are talking bone stock performance wise, no intake, exhaust, bc, anything.. BONE stock. The only thing that can be modified are tires (a lot of people change tires)

I have an 04 STi and am itching to get it to the track when they reopen!

I want to have something to shoot for.

That is largely a matter of opinion and driver. Some will say 04 because its lighter, some will say 07 because of the gearing. Not to mention who drives it is a huge variable. Then the 05 and 06 guys will chime in for their 2 cents.

2007's, better gearing for the 1/4.

i think he is asking what is the fastest a stock STi has went, not whats the faster year...... IIRC

and BTW i think its high 12's

if i hit 13.2 stock id be happy

I did 13.2 all stock. 12.9 with a k&n drop in, and a AP stage I.

anyone know a definate number? Whats the record for a stock sti (04)?

Im looking to go after it like I did with the 96-98 Cobras.

but yes I havent seen anything faster then a 12.9 on a stock STi. You got to remember, slicks don't improve our time near as much as they do with you RWD boys.

yeah I know, I just wanted to post that cuz the mustang time was with a tire and I didnt want you guys giving me **** for not being TOTALLY STOCK, lol

Welcome to the board SVTdubs! I just switched from an 03 Cobra not long ago to an 04 STI. I remember you well from svtperformance. Good luck with the car!
