Fastest STOCK sti? - Page 7

I'm always skeptical of the term stock because it always seems to be followed by "My only mods were".

My definition of Stock, is straight off the dealer lot, or equivalent. with no mods whatsoever. you can take the tools and spare out though. And with the tires it comes with, if not worse, but def not slicks.

^^ I totally agree with your definition. Peel off the the stickers and head down to the track with a tank of pump gas. I guess the definition of stock is where we get mixed up.

Umm...I'm pretty sure a perrin short shifter doesn't count you as bone stock.

Yeah, whenever someone says "the only mod I have is...", it means they're not stock.

On Saturday My best run was at Gainesville Raceway and Ran a 13.804 on a completely stock 07. And that was with a horrible 1.861 _ 60'

NO EM or anything

Intake silencer delete would make you not stock. What was your trap?

Technically you are correct, intake silencer delete is not stock, but compared to everyone else saying they are stock and have stage 1 or 2, that is stock. I also do have a K&N Drop in

I trapped 99.81 MPH

my 13.1@100 was that stock tho i did have 44K miles on the car

A couple years back, I ran my friends 06, and got a 13.0 @103 with a 1.6xx 60 ft. That was way before I bought mine... but the best he could get was a 13.5 @ around 101. Pretty strange...
