Default 2nd time at track....did a LOT better than before.

I got in 8 runs last night and i think i've pretty much perfected the launch. Cutting 1.7 60's is pretty easy to do now with the ****ty michelin pilot tires i have. I was running 25psi in the rears and 30 in the front. My traps where still around 102-103 but i was consistantly running 13.2's all night long with the exception of a couple runs where i missed gears. My shifting still needs tons of improvement, but that will get better with time. Some of the runs i felt like i nailed the shift from 3rd to 4th only and that was enough to gain 1mph on my trap speed so if i can perfect every shift ill be golden. Oddly my best run of the night had my slowest trap which was 13.240 @ 102. Mods are injen cai, catless dp, 91oct tune. Hopefully after a catback, retune, and possibly a 100oct map ill be able to raise my traps and dip into high 12's.. Also almost everybody you talk to say the track here in vegas is about a half second slower than other tracks

The slip...im 8NT btw.

If it is the Las Vegas track that NHRA runs at it should be faster than most tracks since it runs downhill like crazy. Even on TV it looks like your on the top of a mountain at the start line.

Good runs though, you should have a high 12 in the car as it sits now with those traps. Just get your shifts down and you will be running 12.9's consistently.
