Default Who has the best 60ft on street tires?

Yep this is a thread for the drag racers. Even though 75% of the forum doesnt drag race, I'm curious who are better drivers are on this forum using street tires.

My best 60ft ever was a 1.65 but my best et was done with a 1.68. This was done on crappy 225 Falken's with a tread rating of 400.

(2nd to last choice was supposed to be 1.60-1.61)

Doesn't surprise me at all. STEE is known to be an excellent drag racer.

I posted 1.70, but I quite frankly don't really remember my best, I think that was close + or -. Dragging is not really my first choice of racing, but it is fun every now & again.

jeez 1.615 that is awesome! do you flat foot shift into second during your 60ft? as I find I bog quite a lot once I get into second.

That pass on my video looks like i made it passed the 60 foot before I shifted. Lately I'm shifting out of first at around 6200 and I hitting that before the 60 foot mark so my times are low 1.7s.

I shift normal(not ff)......most of the times

This 1.615 pass was 4 months ago

also I have been using launch control the past 2 months and my 60 foot times are not as good as before I had it....go figure??
