also I have been using launch control the past 2 months and my 60 foot times are not as good as before I had it....go figure??
Hmmm.... So I guess due to my massive wheelspin, if I reduce my rpm launch, I could end up staying in first during the 60ft to shorten it. Thanks again man!

1.705 was my best. No skillz and too much mechanical sympathy I guess.

21psi rt615's and horriably abusive to the poor little car yeilded 1.59, but I could not get it into third gear on that run getting use to the cobb adj shifter. Only two runs and 12.63? being the best shifting at 6,500. The waste gate helper spring rocks. modulating the clutch and throttle on a late stage was sketchy and the car was making some hard knocking noises on launch.

Very impressive. I could only wish to launch like that one day. If I get tuned, i might have a chance since I run around on a 255 wide tire.

I've had a product idea I've been sitting on for quite some time that is a drag race ONLY product. I haven't released it because I've been scared that someone will throw it on the car and go to a road course and wreck.

Anyway, the point of this is - I told P&L about the part, they made one, and dropped a tenth of their 60' with the drag car with it. And that was for the mild version.

Ok - I'm going to make a couple of tester sets for two people to try. While I know what they will do, and have proof that they do as I expect I would like some more real world feedback.

So, I need two testers, but there are requirements.

1) Can get them on and tested quickly once they are on. You guys have no idea how much it pisses me off when I hear "oh I can get those on and run them in a week for you" and yet three months later I get a lot of "oh, I haven't had time/tools/money/concern/warm weather." Small runs of parts are expensive, many times the cost is several times more per part than for a production run, and a small run takes a long time to get made since they have to fit it into their schedule. Sitting on them does us and the community no good. Don't BS just tell your buddies you have them.

2) Knows what they are doing. Don't PM me saying you're new to the car, and only drag raced a few times, but you're a really good driver. I don't care how good of a driver you think you are.

3) Willing to sign, and abide by an NDA.

4) I do not want street racers. Period. At all. I need real time slips at a real track to show the improvement. Beyond that I don't need someone doing something stupid and hurting someone because they were stoplight racing.

5) Has experience and can articulate the change. If you can't describe what the car does then I can't understand if changes need to be made. And it's got to be better than "they feel good." I need real feedback.

6) Willing to take the risk. Despite my knowing what they will do, and P&L trying it out on their car there is always a risk in trying something new. If you've got any reservations about testing a part that changes the weight balance and handling of your car then this is not for you.

7) Has to report findings to us first, and willing to take the time to talk to us about them, and retest if any changes need to be made.

8) Is good with tools, and has tools. We get this one a lot. We're not interested in your buddy that owns a shop and can do the install. A majority of our customers do not have that luxury, and as a result we need to try and make parts that are easy enough to understand and install by the guy who works on his own car because he enjoys it.

Sorry for all the rules, but I've had to start doing this. We've had some problems where some folks out there STILL have prototype test parts they promised to try out and get back to us about for over a year now. We've also had people come back and tell us they don't like a part because of some aspect of it, but aren't willing to work with us to try the change that addresses the issue.
