My wife and I will be picking up our new 2007 STI tonight  We have a 2002 WRX which we love but it met an unidentified flying object on Rt 95 in Conneticut on Friday. Everyone is amazed that our dog and I walked away (wife was not with us). I think its a total but am still waiting for the official word from insurance. I actualy was interested in an other straight WRX but was not much impressed with the 2008 WRX and the only 2007 had an automatic (why do they do that?). My wife pushed me to try the STI. Wow! Its like my old WRX but more so. Mega kudos to my wife for this. We live in Queens, NYC but have a house in Vermont near many deserted dirt roads. I can't wait. So far we love it We are still in the breakin period so it hasn't been opened up yet but still, wow. I thought the 6 speed ould be a pain in city traffic but it actualy is better than the five.
