| Lurker | Hello Everyone. I am a long time WRX/STI enthusiast, I owned a 2005 WRX from 11/04-07/05, had to sell for a more "practical" car. And by practical, I mean cheaper to insure and a little easier to get in and out of the back seat with a baby in a carseat. But the time has come to replace my old 740 Volvo with 256,000 miles on the clock that has filled in fine and served it's purpose, I'm ready to join the ranks of the STI owners. I work for an Indianapolis area dealership network as a Volkswagen technician, and we have a subaru dealer less than a half a mile down the street. I had considered buying a new GTI or even a Volvo S60R, but I've always had the Subaru sickness, especially after owning my WRX. Nothing else just makes sense to me in the way that the STI does, no other four door sedan can deliver that driving experience, definitely not with a sub $50,000 pricetag. I've driven about a dozen STI's, and I prefer the 04-05 bodystyle, and am actively looking for a a "gently" used one. We have a few decent examples at our Subaru dealership, but nothing has quite piqued my interest to the point of purchase. But I am still searching for the right one for me, maybe I'll find it here. IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | I'm sure you'll find the car you're looking for. Most of the cars you'll find for sale here have been modded, though the mods are on record. You might be able to find someone who's mod path is similar to what you'd do. Look on NASIOC as well. Good luck in your search! This ad is not endorsed by this member.
