Default Internal/ External Wastegate

whats the diffrence between an internal/external wastegate ?
i know one is in the inside of the turbo and one is on the outside

i plan on running a fp green w/ supporting mods but im not sure if i should go with the internal or external wastegate...

any pics of an external wastegate ?
im currently using a turboxs 4" dp will i need a new dp ?

any reason i should go internal or external ?
plan on using 93 octane no race gas and plan on running nothing more that 25psi of boost

internal wastegates will send the excess exhaust down the pipe, it is also a component of the turbo itself. External wastegates release the excess exhaust into the atmosphere, or down into the pipe, and is seperate from the turbo.

External:

I'd say get an external wastegate. Because most aftermarket systems perform better with an external, especially when you get up in the 25-30 psi range.

You will have to have an up pipe that is made for an External wastegate, or have a flange welded onto your existing up pipe.
