IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 | And I did answer your question: reinstalling the BPV will eliminate the problem. Once you've read the many threads referring to BOVs, you'll understand why they're not recommended for these cars. |

You know, there are other "forums" on this website besides the newbie "forum"..... I will also advise you, do not make a new post in the engine and performance forum about this, as you will be flamed, your thread will be locked, and possible points. Do as boon said, search on the topic, you will find all of your answers. Trust me

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 | TIC products, but the klunk killer kit in paticular, what is the difference between comfort and race as far as NVH is concerned and is it even worth it to get the comfort set? |

I will say that there are several threads discussing the bushings already if you feel like doing a little searching and narrowing in the Suspension Forum.

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 | Well I appreciate your response, for the record, I did do a search, and reviewed the Suspension Threads of Interest Sticky and was a little overwhelmed by the amount of threads on this topic but frustrated by not being able to find a solid comparison of the two types that gave me a clear answer, that wasn't so biased... maybe I suck at searching... I was just hoping for a link or 2 to be posted by someone who might know of a really good non-baised thread for me to read through... I don't want to waste turninconcepts with my stupid question which is why i thought the newb sections would be a good place to post. If this is not correct I apologize. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 | 1) Searching does take a bit of practice. There are certain key words that you have to play with. I'll dig for a thread for you shortly. 2) I'm sure turninconcepts (TiC for short) would welcome the question, and they will answer you honestly. They're a well-trusted vendor here and will do their best to get you the right part for your application - even if it means a less expensive part. Happy customer = repeat customer. 3) Tic - their nickname - is often used when speaking of their products. That's one of those search terms I mentioned. Let me go see if I can find something for you. EDIT: I'm not 100% sure, but these threads will probably yield your answer. Again, if you don't have time, I highly suggest you contact them. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2007 | What is the best front mount intercooler. I have an 06 sti. The modifications I have so far are: Perrin pulley, TurboXs turbo back exhaust, TurboXs bov, alcohol coolant with pump, down pipe wrap, short shifter. I had the car lifted today and the clutch seems to be stock, I can’t tell if its been changed. I bought the car last week from Subaru of Jacksonville FL, the mods were already there. O before I forget, the stock coolent tank in the trunk was removed and replaced with the ralley one. |

Your first mod should probably be removing the BOV and replacing it with the stock BPV.
