Yes, if anyone is living in the twin cities area of Minnesota, and would be willing to meet me for a comparison drive, I wouldn't mind . . . let me know! I could meet you at your location! Thnx

I have some AccessPort questions. Have mercy on me.

With the $695.00 AP, can I download stage 2 maps, or will my car remain stage 1 even with boltons? Can I get a protune with this price?

In order to become stage 2, do I need to buy the $1500 AP, or is this just part of a package which comes with the TBE?

No you can't load a stage 2 map unless you have the supporting mods that make you stage 2 (I can't recall exactly what the stage 2 mods are). The AP allows you to upload maps which are premade for your set of upgrades. Stages refer more to the upgrades on the car not which map you are running.

Cobb does not make a $1500 AP it is probably part of a package that they sell.

The 695 is just the AP which allows you to load OTS maps like Chris said. Once you buy a TBE you can load the stg 2 map.

No the price doesnt include a protune that has to be done at a dyno shop that tunes cobb.

And the $1500 is for the stage 2 pkg cobb sells which is the AP and their tbe, but you can use any aftermarket tbe with the AP

hello guys, I recently blew out a strut on my (04) STi and i am looking for coilovers so that i wouldnt run into the strut problem anymore. Heard it was pretty common. I am only 16 years old so any recommendations would be nice. I got my STi at 15 so im still learning about the car. Thx

I bought a new laptop, but it lacks a 9 pin serial port. Can I use a USB-9pin cable for the UTEC? Do I have to follow any diferent steps when doing this? Thanks!

Go to Bestbuy or Circuit city and purchase a USB to Serial cable. Should run about $30.00.

Turbo timers are unnecessary on the stock turbo. STi use water/oil cooled turbos.

For the other question, I'll wait for a guru to chime in.
