Default newbie to subie

whats up guys, I spend most of my time on 3si, But I had to see what all tha fuss was about and picked up an 04 STi.

The story goes...

My buddy bought the car when it came out. I helped him install the mods, and then he goes and sells it without telling anyone. he calls me a day later to tell me that he traded it in for a ford truck , he's dooing the family thing now . anyway, I went up to the dealer and bought it before it was even listed . The dealer didn't have a clue what they had in their hands and I was able to pick it up for $24K. it is an 04 with 23K on it. The turbo is stock, and its modded tha f-out, when I get it tuned, ill be close to 350awhp.

ill get better pics later

my other beast before I took her appart!

Congrats on you buy! you can make you own journal of your car over in the Member Journals section and detail all your mods etc. if you want to.
Welcome to the site too!

just be carefull with that boost controller. raising the boost just by itself will seriously injure your motor. i dont know how much damage it would actually do, but even runing 15 psi (stock is 14.5) without proper tuning would freak me out.

theres a couple options for tuning. there are a million threads on all the different ways, so i leave it up to you to search. but if your hankering to tune yourself, the cobb accessport and their street tuner let you tune the car yourself basically.

Congrats on the car, smooth move buying your buddies car before the dealer knew what they had and listed it! Good luck on the tuning, and enjoy!
