Default New STi Owner from AU

Hey all, figured I'd get myself signed up & introduced to the forums after securing a 2015 DGM STi Premium, basically still new with a mere ~15000 km on the clock & completely stock standard. I'm psyched to say the least & due to pick it up tomorrow morning.
I've come from a background of old Japanese 80's & early 90's coupes & have owned nothing newer nor have I ever owned let alone driven a Subaru up until now, so this is a major step up! Nonetheless, a good move for multiple reasons.

Looking forward to frequenting the new community & forum, see ya'll out there!

Cheers,
Mike

Cheers for the welcome! I told myself I wouldn't touch the car anytime soon, but how soon that changes! I've already got a set of the OEM black STi fender garnishes on their way & some black replacement license plates. Other than that I will eventually lower it no doubt with a set of new wheels (not yet convinced on the stock BBS, may powder coat them black first & see how I feel) & of course the JDM DRL fog light bezel upgrade to come in time as well.

So basically just some subtle changes to the exterior & general maintenance upkeep for now. In meantime, enjoy the drive!

Gday mate, where you at, I live between Sydney and Brisbane.

If you do nothing else, a muffler delete is cheap and the sound is brilliant.

I'm in Melbourne man, don't see many late STi's around this way!

And in all honesty, after collecting the car today & giving it a proper drive home I am even impressed by the stock rumble, so I think that will keep me satisfied for now. But if that is anything to go by, I could imagine just how good a muffler delete would sound!
