Default Checklist when picking up new STi at dealer ?

Title says it all.
Is there anything dealers might skip, forget, or 'cheat' you out of ?

ask them where the floormats are. (or do they come with floormats now?) Anyway my dealer threw in some all-weather ones at the last minute.

check for any scratches on the car and check the rims too for curb rash. if it doesnt come with sti floormats then they should at least throw some type of floormat in. oh and if your getting a short throw as an options make sure its an upgraded short throw. Dealer told me I was gonna have the short throw on in when it comes in and a week after i picked it up they told me it is a short throw but theres a upgraded short throw.

Default Delivery checklist

2) Check all the fluids in the engine bay including the engine oil,
antifreeze in the radiator, and transmission oil.

3) Specifically ask the dealership to check the oil levels in the
differentials (some STis have been delivered with low levels of oil
which were not discovered until significant mileage had occurred.)

4) Did I mention floor mats?

5) Verify that you receive the little ID tag that identifies your
STi's key code in the event you need to request one in the future.

6) Check for scratches, dings, paintwork on body, curb rash on wheels.

7) Check for low miles. Less than 20 miles.

[Thanks Kevin of King of Imports, LLC]

ps, I pick mine up in 12 hours.

when you drive too close to the curb and scrape your wheels against the curb. People at delaerships aren't always the best drivers and they park the vehicles so close together....curb rash happens quite a bit when people aren't experienced at driving a certain car/are in a rush and not being careful.

At my request during delivery, the salesman walked me through every point in the PDI checklist. If your salesman isn't knowledgeable enough to do this, ask for a mechanic.

Be sure the dealer gives you three keys total. 2 Master Keys(Black) and 1 Grey Valet key. When I picked up my STI and I didn't know any better the salesman gave me three keys because and I quote, "sports cars don't come with valet keys"

The PDI check list actually goes back to SOA now. But make the salesman go over it with you. All the info above is good. Congatulations and Good Luck!!
