IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | Ye gods this is a helpful thread. TYVM, Ben. Here's an addition that may help. WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get FORD - Fix Or Repair Daily (I drive one, I should know) SRT-4 - Neon on steroids... but not good steroids. H6 - Horizontally opposed 6 cylinder engine (for the heck of it) I've also seen these used in places... AX - AutoCross or AutoX n00b - Someone who is brand new (also, newbie, noob, nube, etc.) |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (6) | I would like to add a couple more, non-techinical abbreviations... LOBNH - Lights on but nobody home WWND - What Would Nivek Do? ![]() ![]() ![]() username-san - (-san = such a n00b) Example - Saint-san (me). It's like the Japanese decelnsion of familiar names. It's endearing and somehow condescending at the same time. ![]() So, nothing of real value to contribute other than an amusing thought or two. As usual. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
