ECM = Engine Control Module (you know what Subaru calls an ECU? )
SMJ = Super Multiple Junction (a large connector under the left side of the dash that allows the driver's side branch of engine wiring to be separated from the rest of the harness fairly easily)
GC8 = '93-00 Classic bodystyle Impreza WRX/STi (non USDM) G=Bodystyle C=4door 8=2.0turbo motor
GM8 = 2door Classic Bodystyle WRX
GF8 = 5door Classic Bodystyle (Wagon) WRX

Kotir....can you do a full chassis breakdown for Subys? I admit I get lost in those which can drive me nuts on some parts websites or nabisco posts. Hey, what can I say. I'm trying to learn the way of FHI.

Now if you want VW's, that I can breakdown for you.

NA, is also Naturally Aspirated (IE non-turbo)

Correction:
NASIOC = North American Subaru IMPREZA Owner's Club

Silly question, but what does NVH mean? I've never seen it until I came to IWSTI...and I haven't been researching for more than a few months.
