Default Hi, introducing myself here.

Well, Last night I drove home my brand new 2010 Blue STI. I am so in love with the wagons, probably one of the few guys in here that actually liked the 5 door version.

So yeah, up to a few days ago, I was terrorizing the snowy streets with my 04 G35x. Now I cant wait for the roads to clear so i can get my STI out. Summer tires do not fut it in 15 inches of snow that we got last night along, and still snowing.

Well just wanted to introduce myself. I will post pics once I can get them.

Are you being sarcastic hahaha, I thought it was going to be fun last night driving home but it was the most stressful evening ever. The summer tires have no traction what so ever. It is a good thing it is AWD. It took me an hour to get home, the dealer is about 5 miles from my house. It didnt help that i was 15 min stopped behind a crash. Anyways, yeah it was bad. So I am thinking about buying snow tires in the next day or so. Hopefully we wont get much snow after this.

So yeah, I have a brand new car, and can't drive it because it is snowing sideways with maybe 50' visibility. They have not cleaned the streets around my neighborhood so there is probably a foot or more of snow on the ground. I can not get any car out of the garage. I am skiing on my st thats how nice it is.

Anyways, yes I love this car and I actually will be doing small mods soon.

06 G35X are nice and they handle great in snow too. But I cant complain, now i have 2 toys haha.

Yes but as soon as you throw winter tires on the beast - you'll be moving around better than everything else on the road.

Quoted for truth.

AWD doesnt make you invincible. Proper tires in the proper conditions though, the sub will be one of the most controlled cars out on the road with a decent set of winter tires.
