IWSTI Addict since: May 2009 | Just trying to get some feedback from fellow STI owners what the best Snow tires for the buck is out there? I currently have an 04 STI and have been looking into getting some snow tires. Is there any place out there that makes steeles for an 04? I can't seem to find any basic tires for winter use besides high performance rims on tirerack. Does anyone know the bolt displacement for an '04 anyways? Hoping someone out there can help a fellow STI owner out. Thanks. |

| The Next Petter Solberg Feedback Score: 1 reviews | In the future, take 2 minutes to read the titles of the other sections on this website. Searching can be your best friend and normally you will find an answer to your question immediately by searching in the right section. That way you don't have to post a new thread and wait for an answer. I'm assuming by bolt displacement you mean lug pattern? It is 5 x 100 on the 04 STI (05 and up STI is 5x114.3). I don't know if there is such a thing as steelies for an STI, the front brake calipers are too big. I could be wrong about this, but I have yet to see it done. As for tires I see most people recommending Blizzak's for the real winter conditions. If you go to the wheels & tire section, you will find plenty of threads with good input, opinions, and recommendations. If you can't find your answer there, then feel free to post a thread and let everyone know you did your homework before posting, you'll get answers faster that way. Good luck! |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2008 | There's a certain year Honda crv that clears our Brembos. People pick up the steelies from $100-$200 from junkyards. The majority of hondas are 5x100. Check out the GD wheel/tire section for the year of CRV. The Blizzaks, X-ice 2 and the ice bear are your most popular tires; 205/50-225/45 |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 | I use Blizzak snow tires and will probably always use them. I am extremely happy with how they work. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 | Im currently running Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's and like them very much... 225/45/17 They are a bit loud on dry pavement... But, ive never put performance snow tires on an awd car before so i dont have anything to compare them to... |
