IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 | you really should search, or at least tell us what your plans are for parts. Basically you should plan on the mods you want e.g a TBE a CAI etc.. and then go get a tune. It is best to have a tune that takes into account all your parts and that way you save money by not adding more parts and having to get another tune. Protunes are like $500 for a map. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2008 | certain short rams, and all catback exhausts. IF you want maximize the performance of your car, it's always best to get a car specific tune (protune) / thread. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 | Ok, putting the jerk comments aside. haha. Pretty much anything you do to these cars requires tuning. Just search and find some of the numerous threads about blown motors and problems people have had associated with mods that weren't tuned accordingly. Turbo back exhausts are the most common mod in my opinion people do without tuning, which you need! I learned this when I first got my car. There is a ton of info here, just gotta look for it. |

| The Next Petter Solberg Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Hey! Cool story right? Let's rip on the guy for maybe accidentally putting an "s" at the end of "mod", if it wasn't there the question would have made perfect sense so GTFO!!! Welcome! CAI or a Catback should be good, but really, wait until you get all your parts (if going for multiple) and then get it protuned. |
