IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2010 |  New memeber Hi i am a new to this forum i am from utah and just bought a 04 sti and i am clueless about it. i bought it as a theft recovery and is missing the motor. still has the transmission and alot of the motor parts in the trunk. i was also wondering what other motors are interchangable with my car? all the help i get will be appreciated thanks |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2008 | Re: New memeber Just drop in the standard EJ257. Other options would include an EJ22T out of an old Subaru Legacy Turbo, or a jdm EJ20 for its forged components and OEM twin scroll turbo setup. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2008 | Re: New memeber To my knowledge, the 06+ wrx motors have the same components as the 04+ STi. The wiring harness would be the wrx/STi ej257 harness. |
