Default My new '05 PSM STi (w/ Pics!!)

Hey everyone! Just bought my first car...2005 Subaru WRX STi. I drove down from Pittsburgh, PA to Charlotte, NC to buy the car. Then I drove my new car to Long Beach, NC. Talk about a sweet vacation. Man do I love this car. Oh and I'm 18 and paid for the car myself in cash

It is an almost completely stock '05 with 64000 miles. The only mods are Rally Armor Classic, factory short throw with titanium knob, auto dim mirror, and STi floor mats . The only engine mod is the snorkel and silencer have been removed from the airbox. I was going to put it back to stock, but really like hearing the turbo spool and go psst in between shifts.

I also have wider tires on the stock rims. They are Yokohama S drives 245/40/17. I really like the extra grip and the way they make the car look.

The car is completely mint besides a few scratches on the bottom of the front bumper (what are ya gonna do..), a pencil eraser sized nick on one rim, and a missing crome piece from one of the air vents (pic below). If anyone knows where to get one or has one laying around, post up or pm me.

Just wanted to introduce myself, been lurking for a while and then signed up a little while back. Now that I actually own an STi I feel like I can post! Love the forum btw, tons of great information and people.

Enjoy! Pics are courtesy of my buddy Kevin. He did this with his "bad camera."

Cheers,
Kurt

Here's the pic of the missing chrome piece on my vent. Anyone know where to get these?

Looks great!! Good luck with it! and you might just have to buy a new vent but not 100% possitive.

Best year and color! Just check out the local junk yard or stop by a Subaru dealer for that missing piece.

Welcome, awsome first purchase! I actually might have a spare passenger side center vent laying around from my 06. I'm pretty sure I do but not positive, I will check in the morning. You won't be able to buy that tiny little chrome plastic piece.
