Default turbo boost gage

my question was I hade little consurn regarding my
Gage how much boost should it be reading
When you accelarate I get only around 1.0-1.05 is that normal and the gage doesn't move that fast.
My brothers gage on his Evo 9 mr moves alot faster and practicly tops out Thanks for you're guys is help

What kind of gauge do you have first off? And where did you tap the vac line?

first off, the sti is not an evo. You cant really compare the two. Secondly the 1 bar is about right for a stock sti. Thats about 14 psi which is where a stock sti should be. As for not moving very fast, there is some lag so if u gun it at 2000 rpms, its gonna take a while to spool up.

Yeah 1 bar is correct.. And Evos have alot higher Psi than a Sti

A Bar is Metric while PSI is Standard. 1 bar = roughly 14.5 PSI.

let me correct my self whent out to take a peep at boost gage it reads .15 my bad I thought it had 1.5

the gauge is a (lamPoo) the readings are -.05 to +.15 MPa
and i dont have a clue where it has been tap in to thanks
