Default First time buyer

So i'm looking into a 07' Sti. I need a 4 door 300+hp car. Mild mods are in the future. new turbo, tbe and tune. looking for 12.5sec 1/4, and 350whp. Any insight you can give me would help. I've never driven a Sti only a reg wrx. My current options are STi, Speed6, HHR ss.

Thanks

Read up in the Engine forum. Especially the stickies. Those should help out. Turbo swaps are oft-discussed. Just dig through some threads and I'm sure you'll find everything you need.

STI fTW... What other car that you listed up there would you be able to run in the snow, dirt, practically all situations... the sub! Mazda Speed3 are fast but FWD, and don't even think about the HHR, bad car IMO. good luck with your purchase and do as much research as humanly possible on this car.

At least the HHR SS has an LSD instead of the torque steer.

You will love the STI. I have a 07. The big difference is if you live in cold weather you need to let the car warm up! Also remember that the car ride is much harsher. The 08 had a nicer ride from what the reviews said. But just make sure you do the research before you purchase.
