Default wife now joining

So my husband "attila" convinced me to get on here last night. He currently has an STI while I currently have a 2000 Eclipse(sigh). I will be joining the military soon and once I have a paycheck I will be buying my own subaru. Husband thought I should check out the site to see what I want to do to my subie before I even get it. We haven't completely decided on whether it will be a WRX or STI. So I'll just be browsing around before the big purchase.

Welcome,

Why not just get an STI. If you get the WRX you'll always be thinking in the back of your mid. "I could have had an STI."

We've had that discussion! It all depends on price at the time. However, the Turbo we are looking at if we get the WRX is bigger than that of the STI so it would go faster anyways(so Im told). But my driving ability (with a manual) needs some work!!

Turbo is one facet of a much larger and more complete animal in the STi. Well worth the extra $$$. Good luck.

05 or 06. I like both. John's is white, I prefer black or dark grey. I don't like the limited WRX though.

My only advice is hold off until you know where you are going to be stationed...If you get sent to Korea/Japan your car stays home, no sense making payments. Or if you get sent to Germany, German cars become alot more affordable (If you would rather have a 335/M3). But if you stay stateside just spend the extra money to get the STI. Not that the WRX isn't a good car, but Diet Coke will never tastes as good as the regular stuff.

1: first off, thank you for your services, your doing something im to afraid to do, so again thank you and be safe!!!

2: think of it this way, if you have to get the rex you can always use your husbands lol, but if you can foot the STi i say go for it (bias ofcourse lol). either way both models are great, after all the sti is an impreza.

loads of info on this site, i know i learned alot on here.........

sooooo welcome and hope you can soon be a part of the subie family!!!

oh right and thank you again!!!

Donnie~
