to the OP-

1-welcome to the site officially even though you've been here before.

2-Have you looked into the financials for owning one of these cars? I originally wanted a '06/'07 but insurance is MUCH more than compared to a '04/'05. It was $2000 for 6months of full coverage for a '06 and only $1200 every 6months for a '05. Made my decision MUCH easier. Plus the '05 only had 17,000 miles on it when i bought it!

welcome, i'd go with an '05 but i'm basis. i almost got 2 different '07, an '06, and then ended up with my '05.

enjoy your stay, read up. and try to test drive one before you fully decide, these cars have a lot of power for a begining car. but in the end the decision is up to you.

I've only seen one STi with pink rims and it was on the internet somehow....

It must have been from subiesport...

Good luck with the purchase when the time comes. Let me know when you start hunting and I'll keep my eyes open. I know there are quite a few STi's around town--I pass a wrb 06/07 like 2-3 days a week on 26 on my way to work. Just for the love of god don't get a SRT-4 or the GTI (as subiesport said, a car so foul and unreliable it should come with a bus pass

Hey! I think I've seen your car at the mall, and I think I took a pic of it, lol. Thats so cool, your the first person from A-ville I've found on a car forum!

And yeah, I see quite a few wrb STi's around here.

Thats funny. I need some new pictures of it. I'm hoping to get a wax in soon and get some shots up on the parkway. As for cruising patton, not typically. I ride down there every so often to see if I can spot any hot cars. But at $4.35/gallon and like 15mpg in stop and go traffic I try to find other things to do than drive slowly around in circles

Honestly, I would get an 04-05 tho cause u can get them for mid-lows 20s with really good mileage on them. Just got mine a few months back with 11k miles

Hopefully you put it under one of your parents and your under their car in the plan, otherwise, insurance will be very high on your own. Welcome though, and be happy that you didnt have to go through the abuse the 18 year old guys have to go through when they say they're ganna get an STi.
