What's Up Every One !

Hey just got my new Sti 08 Blue w/ gold rims on 7/3. I've been a member of this site since the beggining of this year, ive been doing my research on the the car . but nothing could of prepared me for the roller coaster ride that i got when i first drove my sti. The dealer was scared out of her mind she was also new to subaru, and it didnt help that i hadn't driven a manual transmission in about 4yrs (mitsu eclipse gs). It took me over 24 hrs to learn how to put the car in reverse i literally was pushing the car out of the driveway, am i the only one?. Ive been pulled over 3 times already. All in all i am very pleased with my decision in getting the sti. it almost didnt happen im from NYC and the subaru dealerships don't really let you test drive the STI, and i was discouraged when i drove the outback trully disappointed. i was going to wait for the pontiac gxp, But i had a thirst for speed and my 05 F150 wasnt cutting it. ( by the way that depreciated like crazy i have a lariat msrp 42000 in 05 fully loaded in perfect condition it appaised for a little over 9000 out of there mind so i kept the gas guzzler) you guys helped make the decision to get behind the STI, and again im very happy with the decision and honored to be part of the team.

Congratulations on your purchase! We're seeing more and more '08 owners every day. Please do try to behave around the po-po, STi's already have a pretty hot rep with that crowd.

I'm not surprised to hear about the pickup depreciation. This is definitely a bad time to be unloading a truck or SUV. I read an article the other day that said that because of $100+ fillups, people are actually just parking them and not driving them anymore.

i was comiing across the verazano bridge and a bridge and tunnel cop just started following me luckily i just pulled out my badge and gave him the finger

Congratulations on the new ride. Sounds like you are already okay with getting pulled over - assuming you are pd by the mention of the badge.

No, actually i'm thinking if he wasnt a cop he wouldnt have a license. Pulled over 3 times in 4 days? Doing nothing for sti driver reputation.
