Default Heyo!!!

Hey guy's just wanted to say that im pumped to be a member of IWSTI now. Just picked up my new 2006 WRB STi w/Gold BBS. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinion's on ECU's stage 2 or exhaust and intake. I know my way around the car very well but im coming from a VW/Audi background and I am not firmilliar with the best products for subi's.

I'm excited to finally own an STi and ready to get started. So lets hear some advice!

Hands down the favorite EM is the Cobb Accessport v2.

Downpipe you should be your next power mod after the Accessport (which ps is acronymed AP on the boards). Which downpipe you get is up to you and which one is the best is really debatable. Some taper to fit stock catbacks, some are a full 3", some are catted, others are non- catted. Just search around on here to see what others have reviewed and are running.

Intake is not a good thing until you are ready to be protuned. Leave the stock one on until then.

And welcome to the boards/congrats on your purchase!

also debatable. Do some searches and you will get A LOT of opinions on that. I know there was a thread around somewhere comparing divorced or bellmouth designed. But I can't seem to find it right now...

Welcome to the boards and congrats on your new ride! My own personal choice and that of my tuner, is the INVIDIA divorced bellmouth design. When u compare the mounting point of the INVIDIA to the turbo and the stock dp, you can see how much more air can flow from the INVIDIA. Its as if half the stock dp is blocked off. Whether u choose to go catless or catted is your decision. If you are a true conservationist, u might want to go catted or if your state has a physical inspection of your car. Then again, if you want the most available power, then go catless. You decide.

Before this thread boils over with opinions, I highly suggest, as the first responder did, that you SEARCH. Opinions are like *******s. There are plenty of threads comparing exhausts. Don't turn this into one. You might also check out the Members' Journals forum and the Fastest Times forum. Both should also give you ideas.
