hey looking to buy an STi and need advice from the pros...

i wanted to get an 05 white STi but i had a couple questions first...

whats the first year STi's came out?
whats the differences in the STi's each year they were produced?
quickest way to get 400 horse? (i heard front mount intercooler, chip, intake, exhaust, blow off valve will do it)
whats the best year to buy?
prices?

2004- I heard they were made to be rally cars so no speaker/stereo and no stock carpets.

i got my 04 WRB/gold with 27k miles on it for 22,500 completely stock

the other questions i dont know
